Outreach Support
Ardmore House Special School
Ardmore House Special School is a school for pupils who have social, emotional or behavioural problems at Key stage 3.
An Outreach Support Teacher from Ardmore visits this school fortnightly and offers a counselling service to pupils who have been referred.
If little or no progress has been made through this service, application may be made for a placement in Ardmore; this would last for approximately a term.
We also avail of Autistic Spectrum Disorder Outreach service from the SEELB.
Further to this the special needs department can arrange consulation meetings with the Educational Psychologists and additional assessment can take place if necessary.
