LISNAGARVEY HIGH SCHOOL A SCHOOL FOR THE COMMUNITY

The opening of school facilities for public use in 2006, has seen the school transformed into a vibrant hub of the local community. A definite ‘buzz’ exists each night of the week, as a variety of activities take place. Teaching staff provide ICT and other classes at greatly reduced rates. Groups from within the local area are making use of the state-of-the-art, yet affordable, facilities. Such groups include:

Our excellent facilities, caring ethos and reputation as an outstanding Extended School have led:

• Sainsbury’s to choose us, above all other schools in Lisburn, to host their MEND (healthy eating and exercise) Programme
• Lagan Valley Health Trust to choose us as the location for their Summer Scheme
