Lisnagarvey High School

Lisnagarveys Netball Club covers all years from Year 8 to Upper 6th form. At the moment 6 teams have been entered into the Local, Area and Northern Ireland leagues and Cup. Our teams usually do very well sometimes winning as many as 3 out of the 6 leagues they enter.

All of the girls are very enthusiastic and learn a lot from seeing the older girls, some of whom are on the Northern Ireland netball squad playing. These girls also help coach the skills practices in the club.

 This year 2009/10

Lisnagarvey have currently 6 netball teams in national and area leagues, some of our teams are playing in the Northern Ireland Cup and Plate. This year our Intermediate team reached the quarter finals of the Plate an excellent achievement. Our Intermediates have won their section of the league and are now waiting to find out who they have to play in the final. It is hoped that the Juniors will also reach the finals of their league.

We have netball club every Monday and Thursday from 3-25pm to 4-45pm.

Any girl is welcome to come to netball practice to improve netball ability you do not have to play for a team if you dont want to.
