Lisnagarvey High School

The Science Club has been developed to unravel the mysteries, and delights of science and is open to all pupils in Years 8 - 12. Students have the opportunity to get involved in many stimulating activities and investigations some of which include:

- Can Worms Smell?
- Burning Food
- Floating and Sinking
- Glass Making
- Floating Bubbles
- Foam Fire
- Rocket Launching
- Exploding Hydrogen

Such activities allow our students to further develop teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. The club also aims to enhance the positive experiences that our students have with Science and may possibly encourage them to think of becoming scientists themselves!!
