Who am I?
This unit aims to introduce pupils to the concept of place and identity. Pupils are also encouraged to explore space and their connections to it, at a number of levels ranging from the individual, to the local, to the global. A range of varied activities encourage pupils to develop a personal connection to their learning and provide an introduction to thinking skills.

Map Skills
This is a skills-based unit, which explores the basic concepts of map work. Pupils are introduced to and given ample practice of the following skills, using a range of fun activities and more focused tasks based on OS maps:

Wicked Weather
This unit aims to develop an understanding of basic weather processes and forecasting. Pupils are also encouraged to assess the interconnections between weather and people. Pupils will learn basic theory using a range of interactive activities, including the use of weather instruments to record data. Throughout the course of the unit, pupils will also keep a weather diary exploring a range of forecasting services.

Earthquakes and Volcanoes
This unit looks at gives students an introduction to the exciting world of natural disasters. Pupils will use up-to-date global examples to study Plate Tectonics and the natural hazards caused by this phenomenon. This unit allows pupils to see clearly how their Geography studies are exciting and relevant through a range of interactive activities, media studies and personal research.
