Unit of Work:        Germany 1918-1941                               
Timescale:           September-January                                                  
Year:                      2009/10

Description of Unit: Throughout this unit pupils will focus on the Weimar Republic, the rise of Hitler and the impact of the Nazi State on both Germany and Europe. 
Knowledge, Understanding and Skills
 
Throughout this unit pupils will have the opportunity to investigate the past and its impact on our world today through an understanding of:

Unit of Work:        Changing Relationships: Britain, Northern Ireland and Ireland 1965-85    
Timescale:            February-June            
Year:                       2009/10

Description of Unit: Throughout this unit pupils will focus on the changing relationship between Britain, Northern Ireland and Ireland between 1965 and 1985, the emergence of civil unrest and the search for a solution.

Throughout this unit pupils will have the opportunity to investigate the past and its impact on our world today through an understanding of:
